About Eldora
Independent, patient-first eye care rooted in the neighborhood we grew up in.
"We built the clinic we wished our own families had access to."
Eldora Eye and Optical Centre opened in 2007 with a single exam room and a simple idea: eye care should be unhurried, clearly explained, and easy to get to when you need it. Nearly two decades later, we're still independently owned, still taking the time to answer questions in plain language, and still booking most patients within the week.
Our optometrists trained across university hospitals and private practice before joining Eldora, and our opticians have decades of combined experience fitting frames and lenses to faces, not just prescriptions. We work with most major insurance plans and keep a stocked optical shop on site, so a visit rarely means a second trip.
